Fenner Construction, Inc., (FCI) serves as a Building & Development Contractor and Project Coordinator between our clients, architects and sub-contractors to facilitate and manage projects with the primary goal of exceeding our clients’ expectations.
Established in March of 1997, FCI opened as a General Contracting Firm specializing in high quality custom home building, commercial and industrial projects along with specialty and hazardous location projects nationwide. FCI also holds a State License for Electrical Contracting, which gives us an advantage over our competitors. With the high demand for architectural lighting and electrical equipment incorporated in today’s projects, we are able to eliminate potential delays and design inaccuracies.
Our goal is to deliver projects on time and on budget with the quality our clients’ demand. We at FCI require that all aspects of construction (design, time, budget and most importantly, quality) remain an absolute priority. We start with identifying the client’s vision and expectations and then use the necessary resources to turn this vision into a tangible plan that holds to the standards that the client demands and deserves. We are capable of designing and engineering projects from conception as well as collaborating with existing architects and designers. This flexibility helps us to meet the needs and budget of the client. We would then call upon our proven list of subcontractors to make the plan a reality.
With FCI serving as your building and development company, we oversee every stage of the project’s development and eliminate the problems that routinely occur in such projects. FCI works with our clients from start to finish on every project.

Our philosophy of providing superior client service, coupled with a proven track record of innovative and efficient building planning and construction, has helped form the foundation of our Green Building and Sustainable Design Program. We have found that, by preparing early in the preconstruction phase, we can help to minimize the ecological footprint of the project, as well as significantly improve the energy efficiency of the structure, resulting in dramatically lower utility costs.
Our team can help you manage your design and construction processes to ensure the highest level of certification and Leadership In Energy and Environmental Design (LEED™) rating for the lowest possible cost and optimum life cycle performance.
What is Green Building/ Sustainable Design?
- An integrated and interdisciplinary approach to the design and construction of facilities
- Proper planning for and locating of facilities
- Efficient utilization of natural resources
- Protection of employee health and safety
- Mitigation of the generation of waste
- Reuse and recycling of waste materials
- Applying life-cycle analysis (LCA) to evaluate a facility's performance and make smarter decisions
Leadership In Energy And Environmental Design
The LEED™ v2.0 is a Green Building/Sustainable Design rating system developed by the USGBC between 1995 and 1998. This rating system was developed to define, quantify and certify buildings for their Green Building - Sustainable Design achievements and includes increasingly higher levels of accreditation known as Certified, Silver, Gold and Platinum.
Fenner Construction Inc. is currently utilizing the LEED™ rating system on a number of our projects in collaboration with Clients and Design Teams. Our involvement in Green Building/Sustainable Design typically begins early in the life of a project in order to appropriately maximize LEED™ points in the various LEED™ categories (sustainable sites, water efficiency, energy and atmosphere, materials and resources, indoor environmental quality, and innovation in design).
Fenner Construction is dedicated to enhancing our technical performance and increasing overall efficiency by utilizing the latest in proven technology. A Private Network interconnects all project sites and offices. This networking capability allows our Project Management Team to electronically communicate both internally and with our clients and business partners throughout the duration of every project.
